Move well. Play well.  What’s the connection between the two?  Why does that matter?

Dave Elitch and Alexander Technique teacher Sandra Dager will be exploring these questions through the lens of the Alexander Technique—a subtle yet powerful method of postural education that helps people move with greater ease and efficiency.

We’ll look at the way the body is designed to move and explore the implications for every aspect of drumming--hands, arms, feet, head, sitting on the throne, common sources of pain for drummers, and many other topics.  

These weekly workshops will take place every Thursday in March and will be practical, experiential, and eye-opening.  We look forward to hearing your insights and questions.
